Welcome HopefulMomma. Losing twins at 8 weeks sounds so very hard. My good friend had the same thing happen with her first IVF attempt. Three months later her FET was successful and she now has a healthy 2 year old little boy. FET's are a lot less stressful. Good luck!

What does everyone else's dr require after ET?? Bed rest??
Well, I took 4 hpts (two yesterday and two today). They all show two lines. My beta isn't until Thursday. I'm going to call this morning and see if they will move it up. I am so excited, but still so nervous. This is just one hurdle, many more to go.
BrynMawr - I hope you are doing well on your 2WW!!
With me, I had sort of a downer of an appt this morning. My FET is one week away and I should be excited, but my lining apparently sucks. It looked beautiful according to my RE until he measured it and it was only a 6.3. UGH. I really hope I don't get cancelled, but want to do the right thing as I only have 2 frosties left.
Jat - I hope your lining catches up and if not that they get you started to do this as soon as you're ready. Luckily they usually don't defrost the snow babies until the morning of transfer.
Bryn - when is your beta?
Jat- I hope the meds work and your lining catches up. Waiting is so hard.
PinCushin, wow, fresh cycle #5. My hat is off to you. IVF take a huge mental and physical toll on ones body and soul. You are a warrior and I pray that this is your BFP!
My clinic wants me to have my beta on Friday 8/23, but today I found out I have an early morning meeting on 8/23 that I cannot miss. I called and rescheduled for Thurs 8/22. I don't think the scheduler knew what was going on, so I hope my clinic doesn't get mad I'm coming in early.
My clinic wanted me in this Friday, one week after my ET, to "check my hormone levels". What does that mean??

Bryn - Were they concerned about OHSS? That's what I was checked for after transfer....
Pincushion - good luck! That is a lot to endure!
My lining check is on Thursday.....fingers crossed to stay on schedule for 8/23!
@ gcinOhio - congrats on the beta!! Hope your next beta doubles :)
@BrynMawr - I'm thinking progesterone as well. Mine doesn't do that - just blood test at beta time, but I know a friend who had her progesterone checked before her beta. 8/22 will be here before you know it!
@lizzy - good luck with your lining check tomorrow!! I hope you get better news than I did!
Nothing much here going on....taking some natural herbs, etc. that are supposed to help with lining issues. DH recently reconnected with a friend from high school who works at a fertility clinic in our area (not ours) and said that I shouldn't have a problem with my lining thickening up. So, we will see.
