actually feeling a bit better today. that time of month finally hit and low and hold, i am down almost 2 pounds. that makes me feel a little better that it is/was likely water weight from this new birth control pill. hopefully my body will adjust to it and all will be fine.

went out to eat last night with my hubs, kids, and mom. belated bday celebration for my husband and pre bday celebration for me. probably the best chinese meal i have EVER had. we had a really good time too. the kids were really well behaved and then we went to the half price book store and stocked up on books. definitely a good night.

Anyone know how to stop raccoons at bird feeders, besides bringing the feeders in each night? I have gone through 40 lbs of food in the last week or so. At this rate, the birds won't be able to be fed.

Put the feeders in a pond. Now if I could keep the damn armadillo out of my garden I would be a happy camper.

i love armadillos! i have never actually seen them up close though! do they do much damage? take a picture!

They destroy a yard or garden by digging for grubs.

They taste pork. If I catch this one it's dinner! They dig numerous holes. Thank goodness mine is staying on the side of my home now. I currently have a mom and a few pups that won't go away! To give you an idea, I try to fill in the holes weekly, One week this past winter there was250+ holes I filled in in my front yard. They are very tricky ti catch. Right now i have 5 traps sets and have for months but cant get them. If they would stay in the side or back of he property, I would care less (ok so I really wouldn't eat it but I would certainly relocate it). Ugh.
