I don't know why so many people believe a relationship is supposed to be "work", a bundle of conflicts and contradictions. Ups and downs, break-up and make-ups.
Relationships are like air travel. I chose a smooth flight rather than turbulence anytime. Sure, the turbulent flight is probably more exciting and adrenaline filled. More stressful too.
As long as the destination is reached. I will always take a smooth takeoff and landing. Leave the excitement and drama fir the disaster movies.
