I actually don’t mind liver, haven’t had any in a long time, I eat all the basics, I like bland food so just plain meat with a bit of seasoning or bbq sauce.

Do you like different flavoured sausage? My daughter works at a local market and the mennonites make all sorts of flavours, I prefer just mild

Our newer remodeled stores are made to be more of a farmer's market feel so they are into all sorts of specialty sausages... fish , sandwiches and even a sushi counter. I stick to more bland too. Have had Applewood, sage, sweet Italian and regular. Can't handle hot stuff... there are some with peppers and onions ground in, some spicy Cajun just to name a few.

Do the Mennonites wear the masks? Some say here they do not deal with that as is against their faith. Not sure if it is true.

I don’t see many around as the just supply the local market and don’t work it. I did go to the store run by Mennonites a couple of weeks ago and none of them were wearing masks there.

Do you still have to wear a mask at work?

Yes it is mandatory here. I wear a shield instead. We all hate them and can't wait to get rid of them all.

My boss has a friend who lives in upstate NY. He recently sent a video of a car show they had there outside in a local parking lot. No masks, no hassles and no cops. In his town (right next to ours... and with still not 1 case of the virus) the local diner who opened for 2 days til the state cops went in and shut him down has always had car shows when the weather is nice in their parking lot. They are scheduled tomorrow and he is just waiting to see if they pull something again.

Have they done that around you? Shut something down even when they are doing everything safe and legal?

I haven’t heard of them shutting anything down, it’s been pretty quiet around here. We had the highest number of cases for the northern part of the province so I think people are pretty cautious.

What phase are you at for reopening? We are just beginning phase 1

Code yellow the end of this week. Also the first stage of reopening for us too... but still too strict. still want restaurants to only take out... still no private services (no barbers or hair salons... no gyms. ) From what I hear they are opening some non necessity stores . Frankly, I think getting a haircut is more important than shopping just because.

How old is Duke?

Duke is 5 we think, they told us he was just over a year when we rescued him in 2016. They didn’t have any history in him.

Do you prefer a small dog or big dog?

We always had small to mid size... but I love em all. (As a teen I had a friend with a St. Bernard. They are too big and SLOBBER too much... all over our shoes. lol) Other than that all are good. In Pa there are some places that will allow pets but they often try to put a weight limit on dogs. Where I am now is to be no more than 35 lbs and I see a lot of pitbulls and bigger guys.

My first as a kid was a yippy chihuahua. Then a cockapoo, a terrier, another terrier mix (both of those we took from others who had to move) then my Kozmo (heeler and terrier mix... he was the size of the heeler) He was 9 when he passed. :(

YES...………..WHEN I WAS MUCH YOUNGER WE HAD BOTH A BUNNY RABBIT NAMED BENNY & A RESCURED GREY CAT WE CALLED COOKIE! BOTH ANIMALS BROUGHT US SO MUCH FEELINGS & LOVE IN OUR EARLY YEARS OF MARRIAGE!

DO YOU SEE ANY TIME FRAME WHEN THE WORD..."BACK TO "NORMAL"....WILL EVERY BE A REALITY IN THIS CURRENT WORLD OF DESPERITY?

I am hanging firm to that belief. I have to to keep my sanity. lol

Yes. Back to my it'll get done when it gets done mindset. (Unfortunately , that could be 2027, but hey... who really cares.. besides me?!)
