Are they opening lakes,beaches parks there?

Parks are starting to open but we still have to social distance. No beaches open yet

They are just starting in a few states. CA and some others did it themselves. Naturally the officials were not happy. I don't see why the big stink. Is outside, can still keep safe distance and the fresh air will make it easier .( Here we think it is mostly political anymore. My state is one of many still governed by damn libs. They are trying to drag this out til election to further hurt the economy and they want to blame Trump. Frankly he has done a good job considering they fought him every move he made. Like a bunch of whiny grade schoolers. )

Are you near any beaches? (at least you've got your lake. )

We have a few beaches near by, some are only 15 minutes away. I live in the land of lakes and trees.
The lake our camp is on is not good for swimming, very weedy.

Are the number of cases coming down there? They continue to rise in our province, in our area we haven’t had a new case for 12 days.

Slowing down now. The thing is, we have found out they count the total number of cases (do not take into consideration those that have recovered so not as many active cases as they would have us believe. )

There are a handful of businesses taking precautions and opening against orders. They will lose their businesses if they do not open soon. Have any of yours done that?

The province has allowed businesses with private entrances to open, so our downtown area has opened up, no malls yet. We don’t have a very big mall so not many stores there and most are large chain stores.

Are people getting together more now? We have a 5 person limit for gathering

I do hear of some yes. Ours was less than 10 people. People are tired of being cooped up .

Duke sticks close to the kids when they are home, he did cuddle with me early when I tuned out with the headphones on. :-)
