Chronic Pain Support Group
Physicians and professionalsdefine pain as chronic if it lasts longer than three to six months and is persistent. It's distinct from acute pain that is a direct result of injury or trauma. This support group is dedicated to those suffering from chronic pain. Discuss treatments that have worked for you, find advice for your specific experience, and find support. You're not...

I am not sleeping tonight because of increased pain and I cannot do a darn thing about it....except take more pain meds....which I am avoiding right now....they will not let me take alieve because of lithotrypsy procedure on thursday....it is considered a blood thinner....and they will do a test before surgery to see what my prothrombin rates are...if I spelled that right....how fast my blood clots.....

I am over my limit with constant pain. Its pain all over. From my neck through the thoracic and down through my lumbar. Along with that I get muscle pains from some kind of myositis/myopathy that will be fully diagnosed in the next month or two.
I want the pain to end. Lord, I am sick and tired of being sick and tired. It's torture just being alive sometimes, like the past few weeks. My precious 7 year daughter keeps me from going off the deep end. Just being with her or thinking about her makes me cry. Lately I have been an emotional mess. I'm not much of a cryer, but lately I can't hold it back because I am so tired of dealing with the pain and everything that comes with it.
More meds, new meds, IT pain pump? What to do... Surgery is not an option because of the chain effect it would have on all the other levels that are messed up. I really can't stand the middle back pain. It really gets me more so than the cervical or lumbar and it's not as messed up. I'm just venting my frustration.
Thanks for reading and understanding,
Darren
