Chronic Pain Support Group
Physicians and professionalsdefine pain as chronic if it lasts longer than three to six months and is persistent. It's distinct from acute pain that is a direct result of injury or trauma. This support group is dedicated to those suffering from chronic pain. Discuss treatments that have worked for you, find advice for your specific experience, and find support. You're not...
The pain has also gone into both arms and shoulders. My hands really cramp and hurt and a headache comes and goes. My whole upper back is horrible and it's creeping down.
I'm getting a little scared at what's going on and not sure what to do. I have an appt. a week from tomorrow with my PCP. It's impossible to get in on short notice so that isn't an option.
Ah well...nothing can be done, I suppose.
I love it that this thread is here.
I love it most that we reach out...to hug...or to be hugged.
Hope everyone gets less pain soon!!!
:)
Good morning to everyone.
Hugs all around!
Seek, those flares make us appreciate the better feeling we have when they end so much more. Hope yours ends soon! :)

Hugs to al.....jc..
I went to a Wellness Show yesterday and met a young woman that invented and was selling a migraine cap ICEKAP.ca. Oh, I love it! I can walk around with icepacks around my head and sleep without lying in one position and I don't look stupid. (and a good price!) She got a big hug from me.

I took my son to the airport yesterday and saw him off... no tears just a hug and well wishes. He texted me all evening to let me know how he was doing. He had a short stop in Toronto and then flew on to Edmonton, AB. He starts work in a camp near Fort MacMurray tomorrow, he's really excited and quite nervous. Poor guy was taking anxiety attacks before he left but seemed good when he actually got to the airport. I'll miss him but I know he'll do great up there and he'll be home to visit sometime.
Angela I checked out that icekap and it looks awesome. I''m sure it must be great to use. I saw some slippers a few days ago that were made like a magic bag. They were bootie style so went up the ankle a bit and were like wearing beanbags on your feet but you could heat or chill them. I think they'd be awesome on those days I just can't warm me feet up. Glad you found something to help give you relief.
Big gentle hugs,
ssLisa
i woke up feeling pretty well. a kink in my neck, but nothing severe. now, after minor sorting and moving around, my back is screaming. i'm sorry i haven't checked in here more and just come around needing help, prayers, relief. was taking little breaks, no heavy lifting, just lots of arm movement.
i just start rubbing my face when pain is high. does anyone else?
Big Hugs,
David.
Just started getting some feedback that i will have to take some serious immunosuppressants to hopefully stop the attack on my bones... yaaay.. So a few doc visits over the next couple of weeks.... n will find out the new treatment plan.. hmmmm...... Anyways...
