I do not want to spend the rest of my life alone. I don't like going to sleep alone each night, not having someone home to talk to after work, and all of the "good" things that come with being married. I've never been alone as my stbx and I have been together since I was 14 and I just turned 41 Friday. This is a major adjustment for me. After all the HELL he has put me through, I must still say that it would be my choice to be married again and not to grow old alone. If I couldn't have a faithful husband though, I'd rather not remarry. Then, I have the whole "religious" aspect to consider as I was raised under the belief that one can/should not get married more than once unless the other spouse dies. I'm not sure what I think about that now...

Actually, Ive never been married before but after my experience with my sons dad and my ex.... I doubt I will ever get married. I mean I hear your stories and I am in awe with your stories. I just cant imagine how someone can make a commitment under GOD and still manage to break it. (its under GOD)

I could barely handle this break up. My last break up was ok because I was emotionally not in it anymore.But gosh, just the deceit that has gone on has given me a bad taste in my mouth.

I have friends who say the third time is the charm. So....hmmmm..... maybe.... but.... premarital contract...and a loooooong courting time...... and I will not put up with anything at all... will have my radar on from the beginning and when my alarm starts that is it!

I guess if I find someone I can't live without I would consider getting married again, but for now, that woman I can't live without is no where to be found
