YES!!!!

I loved being married and having a partner. I love being single too. I was married for 30 years. I'd like to meet someone special but I can't live with him or marry him or I will lose my maintenance. I'm not giving that up.

I LOVE living in sin.

Perfectly content with that for now...and my parents gave their blessing already if children were to come along while living in sin.

But on the flip side...I've got my parents celebrating their 40th this year, my Great Aunt and Uncle celebrated their 57th, and many of my co-workers are going on plus 30. So...it does happen. And I have no ill will towards marriage whatsoever, I did like being a wife. I DO, however, have icky feelings about ever doing another HUGE, traditional, white wedding. If it happens, it's going to be fun, small, and private.

Whatever works for you, it's the individuals choice.

I still feel sometimes that I am back at 24 again...starting my life anew...that feeling absolutely stems from not having children yet. That is something I want.

I was thinking the other day (yes I do that from time to time) that romantic relationships are going to be like a milk carton, they'll have an expiration date that must be closely watched. I may drink milk that is a day or two past it but, then it's disposed of after that. It bums me out to think this way but, it is how it is for now......

I just can't picture it right now. I don't have kids. Would like to someday. But if that day never comes... I'll be content with that as well.

The person would really have to bring A LOT to the table for me to even consider.

Armystrong - I agree, no big white weddings for me. If I take the vows again, I'll be doing so in Vegas, Hawaii, or just find some nice, pretty spot by a lake or park or somewhere. If the person I marry wants a big nice white wedding well, they better find someone who hasn't been through this crap before. Promises and churches are great, but its not what I would want the second time around. A marriage is made on what happens AFTER you take the vows.

Highly doubt it. For what? You can get anything you need from someone without being married.

I'm just waiting til the right (wrong) loser comes along and needs a woman to fix him and help him get over decades of problems that no one else was able to, but my lovin' will be the magic touch the cures it all! And we will live happily ever after.

Hey, at least I KNOW I have that tendency!!!!
