Why NOT the nice guy ***for the ladies***
Kevin5jm
OK...I am 38 and going through a divorce with a woman I thought was the love of my life. I spent almost 12 years with her and was glad for every one of the years. Prior to dasting her I dated occasionally, but ALWAYS ended up inthe friend zone because I'm a nice guy. Maybe I'm nieve, too trusting or just not outgoing or forceful enough. Why is it that most women I am attracted to have to have the "bad boy"...they guy who is a player, the guy who will treat them like shit and then throw them away and then they bitch about how badly he treated them? AND yet they would go back to him in a heartbeat...Am I just stupid or is this what happens?? LADIES...as a man who will be getting back into the dating scene (I hate that term) any advice on how to stay out of the "friend zone" and find someone to share my time, love and eventually my life with??

Correct me if I am wrong ladies but it seems to me that so called bad boys have and element of danger about them and that makes them exciting. I was told if I got a motorcycle I would have to beat them of with a stick. I don't want to do that and I would probably kill myself on a bike. Does that make me a wimp? I see so many nice girls getting stuck with bo-hunks gorillas and just plain what the F was she thinking. I have also seen very attractive woman dating men who at first glance I would have thought were gay, what's that about.

I'm going to say, and it may piss people off, but I have a right to my feelings. I don't want to play any head games. I don't want someone stronger than me. I don't want any games at all. Just be who you are , weak, strong. Just no games.

for the record, I have a motorcycle, drive it almost every day... haven't needed my 'stick' yet.

Motorcycle babe here! I only ride Harleys, call me biased if you will! It's not the bike, it's the owner of the bike that gets me all hot and bothered when I'm riding on the back seat.

But a Harly is a MUST! Sorry guys! I would love to have a dirt bike. That would be fun! In that case, it would not be a Harley. But for the road, only A Harley will do for this chicky.

So Cerridwen are you saying no Harley no relationship?
deleted_user
No, not exactly.

I don't understand the type of women who like to date or be with the player type. I have noticed for me I am attracted to the guy who cares about who I am and lets me know they love me. there are women out there looking for the nice guy, I am one that would rather be with a nice family type guy. But then maybe I am boring. I wish you the best, and good luck!

JudM, I agree with you whole heartedly. I don't want to play games or be played. I don't want to walk behind someone or make them walk behind me. I want somone I can walk side by side with. Games are like Trix ... they're for kids.

Believe me, I want a family type of man. Hell, I still have two kids at home, and two crazy little dogs too! Oh, and I won't mention my little snake. I do not want a damn player, nope, not this broad.
