It is possible to ignore threads and people.
Harder to replace those who functioned here in a healing capacity.

Fact: people have left.
Fact: posts arguing about the banned people, either positive or negative get more attention than anything else.
Fact: we all have opinions about those that are gone as well as those that remain.
Fact: opinions mean nothing.
Fact: We get nowhere with this. It's a viscious circle, and distracts from everything else.
