What?
Okay, point is they all ass, they want you to knock and chase. NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!
Still there are a few things that all people want. I think it starts with simple attraction. That does not mean the person has to be exceptionally gorgeous but as long as they are gorgeous to you, you have a start. On top of that, there have to be other areas of attraction, intellect, spirt, personality.
Then there is respect. Each person has a right to be an individual even when involved in a relationship. Respect covers everything from listening, helping, accepting help, not humiliating, and letting this person know their importance to you.
Communication which has been hit on here quite a bit. But it is more than just talking and listening. You have to have a connection. It is important that you actually like being each other's company and sharing and exchanging ideas and views. It is important to share humor, understand hurt, sadness. Being able to understand that what is said is not what you wanted to hear or vice versa. Leave room for benefit of the doubt.
Flexibility. Strength is attractive. However, you gotta be able to give and take. Stoic unbending is not good cause life happens and you have to adjust to situations you may not have expected to occur. A willingness to forgive.
Common ground. You need to share similar beliefs in everything from family to religion, finances, goals, what you want out of life.
It goes on and on and on but people basically want the same thing. We all want someone who makes us feel special, important, loved, honored and cared for. It should be simple but it is not cause we all get muddled in the wrong doings or what was said, or this hurt me, etc.
i guess instead of trying to figure it out for an entire gender, maybe just stick to finding out for the one who makes your heart beat a little faster and in whose company, you feel as if you are appreciated and seen in a light of understanding and love. Someone who makes you feel like they really care and want you to be happy and what is best for you. Some of us will find it, Some of us won't but if you do, just go with it and don't analyze it so much. A relationship will complement you as a whole person. It can't complete you because if you aren't already whole, you will find it lacking once again.
