I'd like to put one of my normal smartass answers but, do you know what I want?

I want someone that just gives a rats ass. I want someone that sees that the windshield wipers on my car are STILL broken and just FIXES them. I want someone that cares enough to ask me TWICE sometimes if something is wrong because I can fluff a bullshit answer once.

But since that doesn't exist, I'll buy myself a pepsi, take my car to the shop to get the wipers fixed, and tuned up and just throw smart mouthed bullshit around because that's just how it fucking goes.

No BP, not true at all. I dont mind hearing what I dont want to hear, but if you make me fish for it for 30 minutes while you dance around the issue, then it is no wonder that I am going to be annoyed and frustrated.

what do women want? I think they are not that differnet than men. Men care about sex but they can get off by just pounding it in. Women want a deeper connection there, not just the raw physical pounding. Men want a nice house to live in, one that's fixed up properly, but I think most women care more about it than men. I remember my mother complaining about my house not being fixed, she'd say "ya need a nice house to live in" when our cars needed repair or we needed newer ones. My opinion is that you have to have the cars to drive to get to work so you can keep your job so you can fix your house up.

From what I've read of James Dobson, women care more about compliments and little nuggest of love, like flowers etc. Well, men need complements also, like "hey you did a good job roofing the house"

Guy "Honey, are you ok, you seem upset"
Girl "I'm fine"
Guy " You sure, you can talk to me if something is bothering you"
Girl " No, it's nothing, I'm fine"

As for qualities? We bantered this around yesterday -- emotionally available, mature, kind, stable, humorous, smart. But it would be nice that when I ask how your day is, or buy you something I know you'd like, rub your shoulders, initiate sex or grab you in the middle of a store for fun for godsakes, acknowledge it or reciprocate. Don't leave me feeling like a fool 'cause you're not in the mood, buttmunch. Oops ... flashback. Sorry.

I seoond Jo's remark. My ex had so many unsolved issues. He wanted to seem like it was all simple with him. But it wasn't. We can't fix someone else. Plan and simple. He needed to fix his demons, not put them on to me. I want a man who is honest and upfront.
