What do women want?

I have always wondered why goes through a woman's mind. I mean, I really don't think that most men understand how to make them happy. A man can be happy with a few simple things in life...sex, food, beer and t.v. Women seem to be a little more complicated than this, though. So, my question is what do women want? And for the men, what did you think they wanted, but later realized wasn't actually the case? I'm at a point of trying to find myself right now. I'm headed back into the desert soon, to explore my mind a little more...

I tried buying my wife all the state of the art cleaning supplies because I saw how much she loved to clean up after me.

Then I bought a big screen TV for her birthday thinking she would love to learn to watch Hockey with me.

You know what, after all that thought I put into her and all that money she did not appreciate it. So I have given up on women now.

Seriously though, everyone is different. Be yourself and if it doesn't fit with one woman it will fit with another. What A woman wants is you. Not a fake person trying to hard to please her, she wants you. Another woman will want me, and so on and so forth. :)

My ex wife wanted:
-a party animal
-a control freak
-a rich guy
-an abuser

I couldn't provide. Good thing she found a guy who can...and then some.

Something tells me she doesn't fit the profile of what a normal, well-adjusted woman wants.

I want to be a priority in my guy's life.. & I want to be reminded that I'm important to him just as I would for him. I want to be respected. I want to never have to wonder if he's being truthful or sincere with me.. All of this will be reciprocated with the right one.. Throw in romance now & then & there you have it. Pretty simple, I think. :)

I want to be on a warm beach far far away from snow.

But I'm snowed in with my kids, watching Ice Age 3 Dawn of the Dinasaurs, with all of our school cancelled, with power and food in the house.....

I'm happy. (Although thanks to you I keep wishing for fried chicken....LOL)

To be loved from the top of my head to the littlest toe. Someone that can make me laugh. To know that whatever happens he will be there to love and support me. And knowing he will never stray or leave. That will be there sitting next to me in my rocker holding my hand.
