Bipolar Disorder Support Group
Bipolar disorder is not just a single disorder, but a category of mood disorders marked by periods of abnormally high energy and euphoria, often accompanied by bouts of clinical depression. This is the place to talk about your experience with bipolar disorder, learn from others' experiences, and find support.

Wow...I feel all Native Americany quoty like
I have never had a psychotic break and hope I never will.
Without my meds I am a lifeless, depressed person who doesn't want to live most of the time. When I go manic(hypo) after a few days I am just restless, irritable and hard to live with. Mania wears me out.
I don't see psychosis as a form of healing at all.
Watch Criminal Minds and keep theorising. And go easy on the ' being more depressed' yawny stuff. BP 1 for a reason...numbered as 2 for a reason also.
Box is right
Interesting the way that people respond to the Psychosis stuff that have never even had it.Always the same thing.

Hey I got rich but I had to steal to get it.
That logic is flawed.
I don't base my knowledge on television shows, though they can bring about interesting points. I know longer watch CSI because of how inaccurate it is regarding forensic science and the length of time it supposedly takes to figure out how someone died. A day or two? I think not. Try 6 to 8 weeks.
There is an attitude among some Type I Bipolar people that their illness is worse than anything a Type II could experience. Yes, they are different. I know this. But don't negate what we go through. Neither one is easy and Type IIs commit suicide as well. I have a minor in psychology. I do know a thing or two about mental illness.
