I understand Lee, but that doesnt answer my question. You have accessability to a blog and forum with others who believe as you do and I suppose are very supportive of your beliefs?
If you watch the board at all, you will see that the majority of people here take meds and see pdoc's believing their illness is "real".
The video doesn't say "Bi-polar Mania doesn't exist". It says that what is considered Bi-polar mania can be perceived completely different from what mainstream Psychiatry preaches as it's label. Just because pop music is so prevalent, doesn't make it the most credible source of quality material.
I honestly like being at DS with what it has to offer, and would like to meet more friends here. I don't find blogs too helpful and it's difficult to find somewhere well moderated.
I'm someone who feels that a loving and compassionate approach, without people being lied to and given half-truths is important. I just wish I had better ability to communicate that.
