There are a few and now I notice there are songs I can't listen to anymore. I have always liked Amazing Grace, but have trouble hearing it now, my sister had it in the cd player moments before her accident. I love listening to "I can only imagine" it was one of my brother in laws favorite.

The song PLEASE REMEMBER ME by Tim Mcgraw. We played it at the furneral and it is also on the memorial video. It is one of the most beautifull songs I have ever heard.

After the death of my son, I was driving nowhere in particular, just driving aimlessly, seeing so many reminders of my son everywhere I looked. I put in a CD and the song that came on was "Time to Say Goodbye". I pulled over to the side of the road and just sobbed and sobbed, realizing that I had never had the chance to tell my son goodbye. I try very hard to listen to songs that make me happy - reminding me of all the funny and wonderful times I had with my son. You and Me Against the World is a song that was a favorite of mine (still is) and all of my children - I went through 3 tapes because we played it so often - all of my children would sing along with it and knew every word. Although a sad song, for me it brings back happy times when we were all together. The tape was Helen Reddy's Greatest Hits - with so many really great songs. I wish I could say time makes the pain easier - unfortunately, for me, it has not. I try to concentrate on all the happy memories, the laughter and joking around we did. That is what keeps me going. This time of the year is especially difficult ~ again, I am zeroing in on the funny times I had with my son. He loved the holidays and being my eldest child, was my helper - he called himself Santa's elf. I am so thankful I have so many wonderful memories.

To where you are by Josh Groban says it all. the first line goes - who can say for certain, maybe you're still here, I feel you all around me, you're memory so clear.

there are so many songs..one that stands out is Faith Hill's, There Yuo'll Be..from the movie pearl harbor..the music is the one thing that will always bring the tears flowing..sometimes i just have to turn station...

I have 2.. 1 is I'll be missing you,by puffy its a re-make of stings.. i remember when my mom 1st heard this song we were watching the MTV music awards and she loved it!! we had it played at her funreal..

What song I remember now is the one she sang while on Life Support for us, when I was thinking of a sad song of Emma, Joe Walsh's daughter who died at 4 years of age. My daughter said Dad don't play that sad song (I was hearing it over and over again in my mind)....she started singing, instead...."Sunny day sweeping (chasing) the clouds away" which is the Sesame Street Theme song. She just wanted us not to be sad, she had waited for us to come and say goodbye, but she knew soon she was going home. Since she past onward 6 months ago, we know she is healed, whole, gleeful and busy with lessons. Its been a miracle for us, but if you look deep enough into the Near Death Experiences of Children writing by doctors, researchers and parents, you will find it is quite common....and true. Grief is a process but not to be forever. I firmly believe now they hear us and are with us when we need them. Peace and Merry Christmas to all.

Just a Dream by Carrie Underwood. It were going to get marry in July, a couple weeks after my 18th birthday, It brings back so many memories. And in the music video most of the things the guy says James' said. Especially the end when he says I see the future and its perfect or something like that James said that to me 3 days before he passed. :)
