I had my genetic counseling appointment via video conferencing. It will take a week for the medical release forms that I need to sign and send back. One of them is to give permission for the genetic testing center to have slides of my tumor. Another is for blood samples. The tumor testing will take a month and they will be looking if the tumor has characteristics of Lynch Syndrome. if it does then they will do DNA testing on my blood. If I do have Lynch Syndrome then they would recommend removing my ovaries and fallopian tubes. I am also going to sign release forms for them to have access to the pathology, surgical reports of my parathyroid surgeries for testing for Multiple Endocrine Neoplasia. That syndrome can make someone predisposed to developing various cancers.

don't your drs ever give you good news ?

I did have good news last year from my ct scans and colonoscopy that my cancer hadn't returned. Most of the time with my various health conditions it's not good news. My allergy shots are going well. No reaction. I go for my fourth this week.

didn't I just read that your allergy shots decided to go berserk on you? Spoke to soon huh :(

Yes unfortunately I forgot to post about my crazy allergic reaction to the 4th allergy shot! Waiting for the allergist to call next week to discuss what to do next. I don't think it's safe for me to do allergy shots.

Sorry nothing new to report today. Waiting for allergist to call. Not sure when he's going to call. Same stomach issues as always.

No more allergy shots. Allergist said nothing more can be done. I'm off of reactine today, off symbicort and singulair tomorrow and am off ventolin 8 hours before my methacholine challenge on Wednesday. Colonoscopy is July 7th not July 6th and I have a new prep to try. More medical appointments to come.

Still having my stomach issues and my GI appointment was moved from August 9th to September 21st because of clear colonoscopy and biopsy results taking a long time. I've had my period since July 17th. I had no bleeding on the 27th but then it started up again. It's light bleeding but I called my gynecologist because usual for me is 10 days with the iud. Also since January I have had much more pain during my period than usual. I'm waiting for a call back. I hope I can see the gynecologist before we leave on August 29th.
