  Hi, I'm new to this. I'm just desperate for people to talk to. My partner is an alcoholic. He knows he is and has tried all the usual. He hates AA and currently he claims he's doing a hard reduction type approach he says he can never quit, it's part of who he is. He guilt me into supporting him. Basically he drinks for 2/3 days then stops for a day and claims he's got a handle in it because he can stop for a day. But recently he's been hiding bottles etc so he's drinking more than I'm aware of....

  Living with my alcoholic partner is sometimes unbareable. I never know whether I'm helping or making it worse. I can't stand him when he's drunk, and he's a crap dad wasted. He's the best though when he's sober and I've never been happier. He refuses to quit completely and tries to do harm reduction but he basically just drinks whenever, and recently he's been drinking more and hiding bottles more. He's drunk now and is blaming me because me and his ex wife fight. But it's just because he wants...
