  Today is a hard one for me. Woke up feeling depressed and had a long drive to take my 9 year old dog to his new adoptive guardian. My ex wouldn't keep our dogs together and decided to separate them. I couldn't care for my eldest dog where I'm currently living and I don't see things changing for several months so I had to make the right decision for him but it was hard. Since I never had kids of my own, my dogs were my kids and now I don't have either  (he kept the younger one) just so I could...
