Today is a hard one for me. Woke up feeling depressed and had a long drive to take my 9 year old dog to his new adoptive guardian. My ex wouldn't keep our dogs together and decided to separate them. I couldn't care for my eldest dog where I'm currently living and I don't see things changing for several months so I had to make the right decision for him but it was hard. Since I never had kids of my own, my dogs were my kids and now I don't have either  (he kept the younger one) just so I could get out of the relationship I was in. He did try to use this against me to make me stay but I knew it had to be done and now I'm just sad. 

I'm with my sister now but all I want to do is go home and go back to bed. An hour and a half drive and I'll be there. Wish I had something to keep my mind busy but I don't think I'll get out of this funk so might as well just sleep.

Tomorrow I have a doctor appointment where I will be able to get some assistance with sleeping again hopefully and maybe something to help with these moods.
