  Issues from past DVT/PE - What is "normal"?

  Anyone had re-occuring issues after having a DVT/PE?  Any tips on how to deal with shortness of breath and swelling without having the DVT/PE?  I'm wearing compression socks often.It was exactly one year ago when i had a DVT (3 clots in lower leg) and PE's in each lung with a damaged lung.  Was told i'm recovered in June.  Took a trip flying to San Diego from east coast last week and came back to my leg swelling, breathing issues, chest pressure...feeling like it was happen all over again....

  Has anyone with PE's experienced a lump in your chest like you swallowed somehting wrong and then developed a dry cough.  I'm a little worried because they say to watch for coughin up pink mucus or blood.  Nothing is coming up but for the past two days, i've had this weird knot i my chest.
