  Hard Spot in Abdomen

  So I found a hard spot in my stomach while lying down on Saturday. Of course, I am freaking out. I went to the doctor today and he said it could be a lipoma or something more serious so I need a CT scan. I called for the appt and they can't get me in until next Weds, I may lose my mind before that! Anybody else ever have this type of scare?

  I have so many things going on and its hard to know where to start...I was put back on diabetes medication back in October, it has been changed several times. The meds that work at lowering the blood sugar cause major abdominal problems. Diarrhea, light colored stool and cramping. The ones that I tolerate well do nothing to help the blood sugar. I have now been on Janumet since December and still have the stomach issues 3-4 times per week. Its so frustrating because I don't know if my issues...

  How do you convince your doctor that you need to be tested or treated for fibromyalgia? I wake up everyday feeling like I have the flu. I'm not positive that its fibromyalgia but from what I read it sounds like it is. My doctor says that she does not believe that fibromyalgia is a real condition and that I should just do yoga. I have actually seen three different physicians in the past two years and all three do not believe it to be a true disease. Have any of you encountered this?
