  I suffered with sexual abuse off and on for 12 years.  My therapist is sending me to a PTSD specialist who uses Cognitive Progression Therapy.  I begin with that in two days.  I'm nervous about it, but I know that I need to do this.  I've been keeping this bottled up for too many years.  My husband and my children (adult children) know about it, and I talk about it, but I really haven't "dealt" with it.  I'll let y'all know how that goes.  I haven't posted on here in a long time, but...

  It took years and years to get a diagnosis.  When I finally did at 43, they wouldn't put a shunt in to relieve my pain and discomfot.  I had a Lumbar shunt put in on January 14th, 2015.  I had a revision and had the valve replaced on June 21st, 2016.  Now it feels like I have a steel rod in my spine and it's constantly hurting and stiff.  I'm so sick of dealing with all of this pain.
