  Hi everyone.  Got some some strangeness going on and thought you guys might have seen this before:50 y/o male, warfarin for life after three DVTs  & 2 PEs.  All has been good, although my INR dropped inexplicably about a month or so ago and got down around 1.5.  Got it back to over 2 a little over a week ago and am now 2.3 (test at home).A month ago, I bought some new running shoes and increaded my run frquency.  I run long distances, so I am spinning up for better weather.  Since...

  Warfarin and depression?

  Hi everyone. I've been taking warfarin for 7 yours now. I've recently had to increase my dosage because I changed gerd medication. I went from Prilosec to Zantac and my INR dropped like a rock. To deal with this I went from about 70 mg a week to now about 84 mg a week. I'm still not in range and will probably have to increase more.Over the last two weeks as I've been doing this I've noticed an intense change in my mood and some crushing depression.   Hi everyone.  I hope you don't mind if I run by a plan that my docs are forming that makes me a little nervous:I'm a 3 time DVT, one time double PE survivor and was put on aroun 10-11mg of warfarin for life after the third time.  INR has been pretty steady and was at monthly testing intervals at a clinic in the hostpital nearby.The clinic has closed and has sent my monitoring back to my family practice (where it was initially).  The practice used to let me come in whenever to get my INR...

  Hi there.  New to this group.  I would appreciate any thoughts on my situation.  I was feeling tired for many years and my doctor sent me in for a sleep test for apnea.  They gave me a portable unit to use at home. The tech, a nice guy, told me that there were 3 possible outcomes:  1) I would be positive for apnea, 2) I would be negative and 3) It would be inconclusive.  Since the machine itself was considered unreliable, results 2 & 3 would lead to a hostpital stay study to get better...
