  Just wanted to update you on my 5 month attempt to get low dose naltrexone.  I don't want any of you wasting your time at the Mayo Clinic.   Fibro. clinic there does approve it as a method of treatment but will not prescribe it.  They just refer you back to family med. who will not prescribe it.  Neuro. allowed 2 month dose because they felt bad that it is valid but can't get it.  Since they too are specialized I could only get the 2 months and then got sent back to family med again and...

  Just had to vent!  I have had 4 doctors in 2 years..They keep moving away..and each subsequent doctor has changed my meds.  I finally in frustration went off all and asked to try naltrexone.  Doctor #4 said must go to fibro clinic to get it.  Waited 4 months to get in.  Dr. #5 says doctor number 4 could give it to me and listed how to administer it  (Frustrated)  So went back to doctor #4 and she said working on it worried about lack of long term risks..no studies yet.  But would check...

  Hi...haven't been here in a while...was wondering if anyone has tried the low dose naltrexone.  Getting tired of the daily struggles. Read about this and was maybe ready to try something new.  I have had 4 doctors in 2 years...they all move away and each new dr. has changed my meds.  Frustrated..new dr. won't prescribe this wan't sure how much to fight for a try at this.  Any successes? Thanks!

  So I missed work due to a migraine last week and was told when I entered my time card that I had to state where I was...ex. doctor's offic e or home sick etc.  This was not always the case.  I was very uncomfortable giving the extra info. besides the "sick"  that they used to require.  I kind of feel like  it gives them a tracking of your sick time that I may not want to share. Especially one where we are dealing with chronic illnesses.  Does the ADA state you have to be that specific?...

  I haven't been  here since the new layout.  I don't like it as well.  I just need to vent.  I am really struggling emotionally which is new to me because I am usually a pretty positive person.  I am feeling moments where I am very angry at everybody and want to cry.  Have gained a new random symptom that is exhausting.  A sharp nerve pain in the head and tension headache that tends to come in random short waves. I was dumped off onto a new doctor whom I don't like.  We are having family...
