Fibromyalgia Support Group
You're not alone in your pain. Fibromyalgia is a condition that can be difficult to diagnose and manage. If you're trying to cope with pain throughout your body, sleep problems, general fatigue, or other common fibromyalgia symptoms, you're in the right place. The community is here for you to talk about therapies and share your challenges.
But I wanted to say that I hope the new meds will help you. Having your meds changed around all the time sounds very frustrating indeed. Especially if they take you off combinations that work for you.
Good luck with everything. If you're interested in sharing, I'd love to hear how it works out for you. All the best.
You will have to use a compounding pharmacy to make it for you. Compounding pharmacies have the ability to make prescriptions at low doses.
The only reason that I don't use the low dose naltrexone now is because I've found that I no longer need it as part of my regimen anymore. The current regimen that I have is working well enough. I always retweek my regimen yearly and I was able to remove it and still function well.
I would recommend anyone with fibromyalgia to try it for at least 6-8 months to see if it's beneficial. I would recommend it along with other changes. (Gentle movement, dietary changes, etc)
Best Wishes and you can talk to me anytime about it.
