  After 33 years Of a great marriage, things ended. Two of my overriding feelings are shame and embarrassment. It's been 13 years now and those 2 emotions still haunt me. Carrying them around is detrimental to pretty much everything.Anyone else have similar emotional responses to a relationship ending? How do/did you cope?

  I am a study in antonyms. My strength is my weakness. My life-saving routine is my downfall. My love of physical activity is my inertia. I have carved out a tolerable existence of isolation.
