  For years I have complained about chest pain, palapitation, etc with my heart. This week I insisted my PCP send me to a cardiologist. She gave a referral and a slip to have an echocardiogram. Went for that rest on Thursday, heard from the doctor I have a leaky aortic valve. Im upset i let myself believe it was just anxiety. The only treatment for this problem is open heart surgery to replace the valve. I'm freaking out a bit.Needed to vent- thanks!

  Hello!The last few weeks I've been having panic attacks at least once a eeek. Typically I have anxiety every day but not panic. I am 43 yo female. I was promoted to a new management position and have been under more stress but I'm not certain this is what is bringing out the panic. I worry that I'm going to die.
