  I think for all of us that have come to suffer from this subset of OCD it's because it's our of fear. Common sense I know but I made a post on another forum I created about how anxiety feeds off fear we all know this but I had this new found of way of thinking this morning The majority of us that deal with HOCD have never feared or worried about being gay or Bi-sexual our whole lives. The onset of it in most cases I see is sudden and usually after OCD has been obsessive in other areas before...

  I've was diagnosed by generalized anxiety two and half months ago and it started out mainly physically like chest pains worried about heart attacks (cause the first attack can feel like it) worrying about sensations worrying about the future but lately I've had Depersonalization you know not feeling like myself feeling empty feeling not really there fear I won't recognize those I love or my surroundings feeing like a stranger in my own body have and I have OCD so these thoughts just stay with...
