  Hey people,so after 3 months with gastritis I'm trying to find why I'm not recovering. I'm still on a very bland diet and still have issues. I've noticed recently that whenever I eat fibers I end up having issues. I tried eating squash a week ago and ended up with a very swollen stomach for 2 days. Yesterday I tried oatmeal and potato and I got flared up as well.   I'm currently on Protonix 40mg and I'm taking a bunch of things, including slippery elm and DGL. They claim slippery elm could interact with other medications so you're supposed to only take it 2 hours after/before taking them. However, I can't find anything similar for DGL. Has anyone tried taking both a PPI half an hour before breakfast, as indicated, and DGL at the same time so that you "doubly" protect your stomach from breakfast?
