Gastritis Support Group
Gastritis is a medical term for inflammation of the lining of the stomach. It means that white blood cells move into the wall of the stomach as a response to some type of injury. Gastritis has many underlying causes, from infection with the bacterium H. pylori, bile reflux, or excessive consumption of alcohol or certain foods or drugs like aspirin.
I do not eat fiber-rich foods - I read they are very difficult to digest and we need to "baby" the angry stomach. There are some conflicting info such as eat whole wheat bread ,etc. So I tried whole wheat bread two days in a row and on both days my sx got out of hand. Absolutely no fiber for me. Makes sense, if you think about the load we are putting on the stomach :)
