  The last month I had few days in which I have felt depressed. They were because of fights with my family.But in general, now I don't feel terribly depressed like I used to. I just don't have time for that.I registered in an art school after work and I'm studying for a professional certification to advance my career.   The last few days lots of stuff have been happening to me that I got busy and in a way forgot my depression. Its not that I was not feeling depressed but rather I didn't have time to get depressed.Those times I was mostly with people.   I went to see a doctor for my skin problems, i recently suffer from severe  acne  a that is  worsening recently,,  she was about to prescribe me a medicine called roocutane (isotretinoin)The medicine is said to have side effects such as depression and suicidal feelings, which I already suffer from. I told the doctor and she now refuses to give it to me saying that it will make it worse. I think of insisting that i'd take it, I can't handle the acne and it's making me more insecure and...

  Today I went to see a psychiatrist and he diagnosed me with moderate depression and gave me citalopram (celexa) 20g But I'm not feeling comfortable, he didn't say anything else or ask much , not asking of my life , of the things i went through or say much, just priscribed the medicine right away, and I'm scared of taking it.I have been extremely depressed lately and had suicidal thoughts and even an attempt (just told him of the thoughts and self harm), also there's another issue, my parents...

  The happiest I have ever felt In ages.It might seem very funny that the simplist things can make me fly with happiness, and I really haven't been able to feel happy in ages ,  i felt really happy and laughed to the top of voice .I was having a horrible time , from problems with family to others with working. I guess the whole world seemed dark, and I was the centre of that darkness, crying everyday , obsessing with thoughts of hurting myself , and seeing no hope.  What I did was volunteering...
