  So the best part of my day was when my daughter decided to tell everyone at her Girl scout meeting that she doesn't have a dad. Now we live in an area where everyone pretty much knows everyone. So the moms know who her dad is. They just looked at me with wide eyes. That was amazing. Her dad lives 3 miles from us.

  Nights are the worst for me. Most of the time I'm okay. Tonight though I'm not. Usually I don't feel this way because I have the kids but tonight the loneliness is pulling me into the dark.I don't miss my husband. Which I'm sure that is the exact opposite of what most people on here are feeling. My husband hardly showed me affection unless he wanted something from me (if you catch what I'm saying). The " I love you" were far and few in between. He didn't not want to cuddle kiss or anything...

  Today I was doing so good. I was happy content. The kids went to see their dad for a few hours. They were actually excited to see him. The last few days he has been texting me everyday to not go through with the divorce. He says he's changed. That he's a better person. I begged him for years to change but he never did. I can't trust him and I haven't ever really truly been able to trust him. There just has been so many bad things. Today however all it took was one look from him and a smile....

  I'm already emotionally drained. I have started to document everything I need for the divorce. When I left my husband, everyone told me to save every message. I thought that was pointless but I did it anyway. I'm glad I did so I can figure out how often he has actually had the kids. At the same time I hate it. Having to live through the text messages the first time is hard enough. But now I'm re-reading them and it just brings everything back. I fucking hate that he still has power over me....
