  I gad a PE about 4 years ago due to pregnancy. Pre-PE I had anxiety and have managed to control it but lately because of other circumstances anxiety has popped up and of course my mind goes directly to blood clot.   Hi! I am 2 1/2 years out from having a PE in my lung when I was 19 weeks pregnant. My doctors believe it was completely due to my pregnancy. My son is just turning 2 and I have been off blood thinners since he was 3 months. I have been feeling great, even my anxiety has died down which I thought would NEVER happen!I have now been diagnosed with a Hernia that requires surgery. Because surgery is a risk factor for clots I am terrified! Has anyone undergone surgery and been okay?

  Almost 2 years ago I had a PE when I was 19 weeks pregnant. I was on blood thinners until around 2 months after my baby was born. I recovered well and everything has been fine since except for leftover anxiety that keeps rearing its ugly head.I live in Canada and it has been quite cold and the air in the house is dry.   Hi everyone!  I haven't been on this board in ages!  Almost two years ago I had a pulmonary embolism while I was 19 weeks pregnant.  Since then things have been pretty good (after all the initial anxiety anyway) and now I barely think about it except to take precautions in certain cases.  I do also have an anxiety disorder and a lot of times worries just pop in my head:)  Over the course of my recovery I have got increaslingly stronger and feel back to normal although sometimes I feel like...
