This community is dedicated to those who have lost a husband, wife, or partner. Anything is open for discussion here, with the hope that we can focus on grief, bereavement, life after loss, and continuing on after a great loss.
My best friend and husband of 30 years died unexpectedly in December so I am new to this group. I have found you all to be so very supportive and I want to tell you how much you have helped me (especially between 1 and 6 am when I seem to need you the most). Knowing others are having or have had some of the same emotional moments, breakdowns, etc. that I am having helps ~ not that I want every one to be in pain but you know what I mean, I was wondering if anyone might live nearby. Just curious ~ oh and I live outside the Roanoke/Salem area of Virginia
I live in London, England, but also a few months every year in sunny Sydney, Australia, and also another couple of months every year South of France. I have given up a while ago working out the time difference. I am sure there is always somebody there listening.
For now it'll be 3 months in Costa Rica, alternating 3 months in the US which will be split between Amelia Island, FL & Charleston, SC. I'll leave for FL towards the end of February.
