@ Paradoxed - Great screen name~~ Good to see another new poster on the Check In!!! Welcome.
Seems like a lot of people are hurting today because of the weather. I am wishing you less pain.
This rainy weather definitely is brutal on us! I know I've had about enough. Every time I start moaning about my pain level, I start thinking about the people in other parts of VT that still have no power and the many who've lost their homes due to the storms.
I have many blessings and I wish the same for all of you,
Cherry
This is a test where they insert a tiny needle into spine and put dye in and take ex-rays and then after that do a CT. It helps the doctor to see what they can't see on an MRI. I may not do it. Scared.
Hippy-I've had that done and yes, they made me be off my antidepressants for 3 days. The actual myelogram wasn't bad at all.I felt a warm feeling when they put the dye in;but other than that, no pain for me. I'm sure you'll be fine.
I hope everyone is doing well. I wish I could write you all personal messages;but my eyes are giving me problems, which limits my tiem on the internet. I hate it!!! I have over 300 emails in my box,CARAZZZYYYYY!!
Love you all, take care and gentle hugs to all of you.:)

@Cherry..So true about the folks who have lost everything in the storms. Thanks for the reminder. W do have to count our blessings!
@ Hippy...If you are really fearful, perhaps a second opinion to see if the test is truly necessary? To have your BP and anxiety through the roof wouldn't be good during this procedure either. Make sure that if they do it, they have a treatment plan in place for whatever results come up, otherwise, there's no sense in going through it. Tests are scary. I send you hugs..
@MK.. Sorry things are rocky for you right now. I know my pain is always worse in the face of turmoil. Take good care of yourself my dear.
Hugs and Hope to all of you, especially those who are suffering.
I am sorry for those of you of hurting... i am too with this weather,.. kills my back and sciatic in my leg.
Hippy- I dont blame you for being nervous, hopefully it wont be too too bad and will prove helpful! Ill be thinking of you.
I have been meaning to update but typing is getting too hard with my arm issues... I end up commenting on posts then giving up before giving an update bc my arms hurt too much.
Botox didnt really work with my contracted hand, I am in too much pain and its causing too many other issues to keep waiting. I meet with the ortho surgeon on wednesday to discuss surgery on my entire hand and fingers. It doesnt sound pleasant but im at the point to just do it.... im tired of being one handed and stuck in this limbo land in life. I have never had a cast so that will be interesting! Hopefully this will be my last surgery for a while... will be my fourth in the past few years! I am not sure about having surgery with Multiple Sclerosis though.... I have to be really careful to any changes in my body with the whole auto immune thing. We shall see! I'm not too worried- I'm over the whole thing really.
Hugs to all! Hang in there with this awful weather!
Glad to see y'all here. This has been a true place for me to come and share things, good and not so good. I have come to depend on this site to have a sanctuary of sorts.
Everybody here means something to me. I am doing OK this morning. Still not working, but enjoying my time with Rocco.........and my wife of course...........not necessarily in that order. I gotta go take the dog out.
Big Hugs,
David.
Hope everyone has a good day!
Good morning to all. Today, I'm going to try to get some work done on our little farmhouse. Our tenants moved out and left a mess, as usual. Hubby's Mom is moving into it. Not sure how that will go as I'm not her favorite person (she would like anyone who married her son LOL) but we'll see. She is alone, sick and what else can one do??
Shoot...you have a little farmhouse? I am packing my bags. I hope you don't mind three little doggies. Somehow I think you don't. HEHEHE
As for mom...she sounds like a peach. However, you are exactly right, what else can you do? It is a good thing to take care of moms as they get older and need help. I keep threatening mine that it will come sooner rather than later. They keep trying to offer the other a fee of sorts to be the one who will keep me and, both of them threaten to just throw bread and water at me in some closet. HMMMM, I am not sure I would not be better off homeless....HEHEHE
I am so very glad that you have recovered from your monthly VampireDonation. Those damn Vamps in white coats are worse than the ones that stalk around in the night.
@ Dave
I am so very glad that Rocco AND your wife rate up there in the same sentence. If not, YOU might be homeless with Rocco and have to go live at Nealy's farmhouse.
@ CH
Super squeeze to you my friend!
@ Hippy
You are awfully quiet and I am worried about you...please let me know how you are my friend.
@Cherry
You have a doctor issue my friend...you gotta get that figured out...no patches, less medication...NO GOOD. I hope things go through the other revolving door for you soon so you won't be so miserable and under stress. Stress adds to pain and, if she were any kind of a doctor / np....she would know that.
I will check back in later when more of you have posted. My hugs and love !!
ME>>>>
Been up most of the night but, I have the day to sleep away once the chil'in go to school. Not sure where my day will lead. I have some paperwork to get done for my student loans *ICKY* but, it may result in them getting dismissed and, for right now, they are on forebearance. That is money that I desperately need to hold onto right now as my truck has gone out the window.
Be back later
HUGS!
Left arm is junk, and my back is an 8 at least. Too much road time yesterday. Everyone is back to work and school so now I'm going to soak up the silence for awhile.
Today is another day like the last few; its raining here and cold so I'm in too much pain, frozen feet and soooo tired. Went back to bed this morning after making sure bf and his kids were up for school and didn't get back up till almost 11 when a delivery guy knocked at my door. I'm hurting but like someone else said I know there are so many that are so much worse off. I'm still able to get up and walk without canes or a walker. It hurts most of the time but I can do it so I am thankful for that.
I hope everyone is finding a way to get some relief today. Hugs and peace to all,
Lisa
