Hello everyone! In the past few months my panic attacks have increasingly gotten worse. Because of this dramatic increase I have developed a very extreme fear of being left alone because I feel like I'll have a panic attack and die and no one will be there for me. Even The thought of being left alone sends me into a straight panic. Was just wondering if anyone else has this experience? And if so what could be some advice? Thanks all!

My best friend ruined my day with her immature, bitchy self. If she doesn't get her way, she has a tizzy fit. I told her weeks ago that I couildn't go to yard sales with her on 9/12 because i have a hair appointment. She wasn't happy. I also told her that I don't have any money to go to yard sales. She tried to talk me into going to more yard sales by saying that if I don't go, there...

The Friday before Labor Day just before we left, the options given to me basically were either quit of be fired, and if I were to stay on I were to be put on an improvement plan, which is pretty much synonymous with getting fired. I was going to do the improvement plan and just ride it out until I found another job due to money and due to the fact that I did not want to quit without another job....

There is a board here called "Anxiety" which has a lot more people on it, if you'd like to post on there as well.
I understand what you mean, I get like that too, which makes my anxiety worse, so it is a vicious cycle.
I find having a written list of phone numbers of people I can call, helps me to feel better.
Has something happened in the past few months that has made you feel this way?
You are not alone... we are here for you on this site.
I am going through the same thing. Even typing this reply to you is hard for me because it forces me to think about the anxious feelings I get. Have you tried seeing a therapist or talking to a doctor to get some medication? I also .have told my neighbors whats going on with me so that makes me feel a bit better. I think you are spot on when you said everything going on in the world triggered something because I feel like that is a big part of what triggered something in me for this to be brought out. I am currently seeing a therapist and taking medicine for anxiety to try to get me through this hump. Dont let the panic/anxiety take over fight back because you are in control of you remember that!
I am using everything that is out there to get me over the hump.
You have started your journey to wellness. Keep going.
We’re all in this together.
I'm new here too and I have to say I can really, really relate to your fear of being alone. Panic attacks can trigger such a snowball of terrifying fears and it's really hard to stop them once they start coming in. I find that there are a few things that help prevent my panic attacks like exercising and seeing a therapist but the isolation of the times we're living in are really exacerbating the anxiety. You're definitely not alone, though, and I do like to remind myself that I have never once experienced any true medical problems from my panic attacks, even when i've gone to the hospital for them. I try to also remember that your body can't keep up a state of panic for too long because it's physically exhausting (I get SO tired after i've had a bad attack) so I can always count on the fact that even if I do absolutely nothing, my panic will subside when my body tires out, and then comes relief.
Keep posting! I'm here if you want to talk.
