Obsessive Compulsive Disorder (OCD) Support Group
Obsessive-compulsive disorder (OCD) is a psychiatric disorder, more specifically, an anxiety disorder. OCD is manifested in a variety of forms, but is most commonly characterized by a subject's obsessive (repetitive, distressing, intrusive) thoughts and related compulsions (tasks or rituals) which attempt to neutralize the obsessions.

i have 90% pure obsessional OCD,and i am ruminating all the time.
it is maddening.
i have a wonderful therapist and we keep trying me on different meds, but nothing seems to really touch it.
i'm sorry i haven't been of any help, but in the least of things please know you are not alone in this.
Another thought is, do you have a pet? My dog helps more than most humans can :-)

(I did not leave that a fully intact link because I haven't reread the ToS lately and cannot remember if they are allowed. So copy and past to your URL or search box and appropriately replace the word DOT).
And another thing that I saw online recently, if you are worried if you left the stove on, did you lock the door, leave the curling iron plugged in, etc., is to take a picture of the stove OFF and the door dead bolted, etc., take the picture on your phone, before you leave your house. For some reassurance. I haven't tried this yet, but I just thought I would share it.
