Nero, GOOD LUCK for Transfer Friday. Have you decided if you're transferring 1 or 2 yet? I think i'm going to transfer 2 (if I have 2 left), but I suppose it all depends on the grading. If you've got brilliant graded embies then the doctors here to recommend only trasnferring one to avoid multiples.
Sadie, GOOD LUCK for your ER Thursday too. Wow, Thursday is a HUGE day for us all!! I hope the trigger shots weren't too bad and you have a brilliant number to tell us aswel.

Hey ladies! I am finally awake, even though I don't know for how long. The sleeping is nice. Well we got 8 eggs and 7 of the were mature. So they will icsi the 7 and we should get a fertilization report in the morning. The ER was not that bad just feel a little crampy and tired. We are very excited and hope that our report is good.

Sadie- hope yours was brilliant and we will see if we tranfer together.

Helen- Praying your embies are super stars

Nero- Did you decide how many were going to be on your all star team?

Wishes... No we still don't know yet! This is such a hard choice to make. I probably won't know till I walk in for the et. As much as I'd love twins I know that financially its gonna cost and I will have to go back to work so I can only imagine finding a babysitter for 2 lol. But I'm leaning more with the 2 than 1. Cause I don't think I'd forgive myself if the 1 doesn't take I'll always have the thoughts about what if I would have put 2. As you can see I'm driving myself crazy with this.So I'm now just gonna pray and leave it in gods hands to help me make the best choice.

Hope everyone is well. Wishes & Sadie, hope you're not feeling too bad from ER yesterday. It took me about 3/4 days to start feeling better. Just keep taking the pain killers and you'll get there! Wishes, again, well done on the brilliant number and brilliant fertilisation, i'm praying all 7 have fertilised for you.
Nero, hope the transfer went well today. How many did you decide to transfer in the end? Get your feet up now and let those eggies settle into their new home!
My news, well, after speaking with my clinic yesterday (which was probably the most nerve wracking call ive ever made!) I'm glad to report, all 6 had made it to day 3! We're over the moon. Cos there's still all 6 there, the clinic have gone for blastocyst so we'll be doing trasnfer tomorrow all going well, and we have some left to transfer.
So happy that all 6 made it to day 3, but now it's another waiting game for the phone call tomorrow to see how many have made it to blast!! This really is a rollercoaster of emotions!
Anyway, will update you all when I can of my progress.

Hi Everyone,

So yesterday I went for my ER and it went well. At that time they retrieved 14 eggs, which made me happy. Well today I found out 4 did not take and 4 came out abnormal, that leaves me with 6. I don't know how to feel right now. Part me is saddened by how drastically the number dropped, part of me is relieved that we me may have an answer as to why I keep miscarrying and the other part is happy that I still have 6.

I'm sure you all feel the same way that you wish you could snap your fingers and know, will all of this bring me a child? I'm so scared that this will not work for us. I know as the day goes along I will hopefully become more positive, but it just becomes so hard sometimes. My husband (which thankfully is ALWAYS positive) was very happy of the news. Of course I am upset with the 8 that are gone.

With all of these feelings I am going to cross my fingers and pray that my other 6 will make it through.

Hope you are doing well and I'm sure I'll be writing a more positive note later.......

Sadie, I understand completely how you're feeling (see my earlier posts) But 6 is still a terrific number. I prayed for my 6 to make it, and they did. I'm sure your's will be just as strong for you too. Even if we end up with 1, that's all it takes for us to be holding our newborn next summer.

I'm sorry I've been out of the loop the last week. I have been feeling so tired and have been super busy with work. When I get home, I just rest.

WOW, so much is going on for everyone!!

You are all in my thoughts!! Nero, how did the transfer go?? One or two embies transferred?

Helen, what great news that you will transfer blastos!!

Sadie, it only takes one. I know this whole experience is difficult. Be strong, we are all in this together and are STRONG women. God would not be making us go through it if we couldnt handle it. It will just make us better mommies

I went for my ultrasounds this week and my follicles are looking very good (so relieving)!! No OHSS, Ive been monitored closely and my ER is schedule Monday at 8am Wow, still cant believe this is happening. Remember when we were sharing our thoughts at the beginning of month/end of September.

I decided to go with the suppositories may be a bit messier but we have a new type here and apparently they are very good. The doctors and nurses all advise me to take the supp. instead of the injections.

SO many emotions.

We got our call today and all 7 are dividing and look normal. So we are scheduled for 5 day transfer on Tues. It is like a roller coaster waiting for the next call. The 2ww is going to be wretched. At least I will be at home for that. I have been away from my house for 16 days and counting. Thank God my Husband and Dogs are here with me.

Sadie- Hope things are going well for you.

I'm on day seven of my stims. They have lowered my dose twice already because my estrogen levels are too high. I had an ultrasound today. They said my ovaries are "very busy". I can't believe how uncomfortable I am! I can only imagine its going to get worse. I have another ultrasound on Monday morning and more blood work. Hopefully I will get our ER date then. I have a feeling it will be Wednesday the 20th.

Glad to see everyone is making such great progress! I hope I can follow in your foot steps!

Hi Everyone,

Well, ET was yesterday. We ended up with a grade 2 Blastocyst and another embryo which had not quite made it to blast but the embryologist said it could turn into one soon. Because we didn't have a top grade blast we decided to transfer 2.
Because we were all done by 10amish, we decided to go toall of the wedding. I tried to sit down for the majority of the day, but I did get tired by 6/7pm but felt like I had to stay till the first dance, so didn't leave till 9:30pmish. Im so worried now i've pushed myself too far on the same day I had two precious things be put inside. Please put my mind at rest that carrying on and going to the wedding wasn't a bad idea... I've had such bad cramping since the transfer, so much last night and this morning. It's calmed down a little now. I'm planning on doing nothing much for all of next week as I have a holiday from work. I just hope that doing so much on the day of transfer hasn't compromised our chances.
Anyway, onto to all you...

JBLL, You're ER is tomorrow, I'm thinking lots for you. It'll be over before you know it honestly, and after just do as much as you can do. Don't push yourself and make sure you get loads of TLC from your family & friends.

Nero, You've done so well so far. I hope your embie(s) are snuggling in now and making a home for the next 9 months!

Wishes, it really is a rollercoaster ride waiting for the next phone call to see how many embies you have left. Well done for making it to 5 day transfer, it sounds like you have a good plan to rest up and take it easy for the 2ww. Try not to stress so much about what is happening inside. I know that's easlier said than done! We'll be in the 2ww together so I feel your pain!!

Jersey - Not long til your ER either. We've all got so far.. i'm so proud of us all!! I'm praying you get a great number to report back to us.

Meemo - I also had to lower my stims and can totally appreciate how painful it is when your ovaries start growing to accomodate all those follicles!! I was told to continue drinking loads of water which helped. Good Luck with your ultrasound tomorrow and let us know if/when your ER is. Thinking of you.

Well I got good news today! I have three eight cell, two at seven cell and one at a four cell. I am feeling a lot better more positive about it all. I will go in for my transfer on Tuesday and crossing my fingers, toes, or whatever else I can cross that they pull through:)

Helen...Don't worry about anything. I was worried and my dr told me that the embryos will ether implant or they won't nothing you can do now will stop them. It's in gods hands now. So try to remain as stress free as possible and just keep in mind that if you hadn't went to the wedding you would have worried and stressed about that too! So atleast you were able to get out and enjoy your friends wedding :)

We got a good call today. We have 3 grade 4 8 cells, 2 grade 3 8cels, 1 grade3 6 cell and 1 grade 4 4 cell. So we might have some to choose from on Tuesday. Dr is very confident we will have a couple of blasts. I am very happy. I feels weird how far we have all come.

For the 2 week waiters- settle in for the long haul ladies, I feel definite good vibes.

Sadie- Yep we have ET on Tuesday too. Keeping my fingers crossed for both of us.

Meemo and Jersey- The shots are uncomfortable and make you so bloated and crabby. But they are worth it focus on growing good follies. Wishing you luck!

JBLL- Hope your ER was a breeze and had a great harvest!
