Welcome to the group... the only side effects I really had were my stomach feeling full and my legs were very itchy. I haven't really heard anyone else say they were itchy but I'm assuming that's were it came from lol. Good luck I look forward to hearing your progress. :)
So glad ER is over with, now it's in the expert hands of the doctors & nurses.
Will keep u updated as soon as I know anymore.
Hope everyone else is coping well with treatment. Not long to go till our dreams come true!!
Sadie, please dont feel alone with your emotions when finding out about a friend becoming pregnant. I think every woman on here totally understand and relates with the crushing feeling you have when you hear the words 'im pregnant', while showing you a scan picture which you wish and pray could be yours instead.
Dont feel bad for crying, or feeling any other kinds of emotions. You're only human, and it just shows how much love you have, and will have for your child once they come into the world. Keep holding onto the fact that your child will be the most loved, and wanted thing, and to never give up on that. The pain we're going through now will only make the joy of having our own one day that bit sweeter.
Good Luck with your trigger shot, I did mine in my thigh, and after freezing it for a few minutes, did feel a thing. Enjoy the next day, NO SHOTS!! Believe me, you are so close to the end now, and honey, please don't feel silly for any emotions you are having right now. Believe me, myself, and Im sure, thousands more women going through this awful procedure, have felt, or are feeling, the same way you do now.
Keep your strength up and let's continue making October a lucky Month!
Love to you all,
xxx
Helen, Glad to hear that all went well today! Keeping you in my thoughts!
Sadie, I can TOTALLY relate to that. I feel like I get news of someone pregnant in my life at least once a month! Thinking of you! Hang in there!
From 15 eggs, 6 were immature & from the 7 injected, only 6 have fertilised.
Due to the low number of fertilised eggs my doctor is unsure whether we'll make it to day 5 transfer. I have to call on Thursday to get the news whether any, if at all, have continued growing. If we have lost anymore my doctor won't risk a day 5 blastocyst transfer.
I'm gutted we've been left with such a low number of eggs after the numbers in my scans, and how many eggs were originally retrieved was high.
I've just got to pray that Thursdays phone call gives us some hope. What will I do if none have continued on? I don't think I will be able cope with getting this far and it ending now.
To make it worse I have bad period pains from the ER on Monday. I'm depressed and feeling so scared that this might not work. I've tried to be positive for so long, this news has really hit me.
Please pray that my 6 eggs continue on & are little fighters. I don't want anything more than being a mummy. Why is that such a hard thing to achieve?
Will update u all on thurs, I hope the rest of us oct buddies are going well. Sorry for being so down. :-(
Lots of love xx
Helen- Please don't despair. All you need is one. I know we would all like extras to freeze but that is a bonus. You want to be pregnant and surely six eggs is enough to accomplish that. I only have 10 follies and I know my ovary is working as hard as it can. We all only need one and I know we will all get there. Keep your chin up and try not to worry.
Wishes good luck Thursday I can't wait to hear about your eggs!
I'll be having my transfer on Friday. I'm a little nervous because we decided to put back 1. I'm praying we made the right choice. I'm looking forward to hearing everyones news!
Wishing lots of baby dust!
