I had my egg retrieval today. They got 6 eggs. I'm very thankful.

Paris - did you have your transfer today or will it be on Monday?

For me, no transfer until May :( Why? Because Kaiser is retarded and has long waiting lists for every step of the way. Boo!

Paris - Oh no. I'm sorry you have to wait until May. That means I'm the only one on this forum left to transfer and go through the TWW.

I'm feeling very good. The bloating has gone down and the mild pains I have don't even need a painkiller.

Of my 6 eggs, 4 were mature. They did ICSI and 3 of them fertilized normally. I have a feeling they will do a 3 day transfer because of the small numbers.

I had my transfer today with 2 embryos

Shazette, congrats on ur transfer. Now is when the fun begins! Haha! My advise for you: KEEP BUSY! Like take up a hobby, go visit (happy) friends, anything but sit at home and Google your symptoms (guilty!). Can't wait to hear the good news in two weeks, fingers crossed!

And don't worry, I'm going to be checking on the forum still. Even though I'm not transferring yet, the anxiety is still there. I'm waiting for my day 5 embryo report. Then in two weeks I'm supposed to get my PGD report. So really, I have two TWW's ahead of me. Jealous? Lol

Will you have to use progesterone and estrogen from now until the transfer in May? Or do you start some time later?

Thanks Paris and Heather. I was on vacation while I was going thru the stims, retrieval and transfer. I go back to work on Monday so that should keep me busy. I'll try to stay off google but no promises.

just an update- I have no embryos to freeze. I'm not sad though. I am confident that I wil be pregnant with twins.

Hi ladies! Thank you for the concern. I've been trying to get back to normal life but after this process, I feel very lonely and betrayed by everyone. I hate IVF.

So they biopsied 11 embryos which I'm very happy about. They just shipped out the biopsy samples two days ago because they "needed to set up an account with the courier" which took almost a week! As if there isn't enough waiting involved in this process, I have to deal with increased wait times due to the incompetency of my clinic too. Anyway, instead of waiting two weeks for my PGD results, it's now 3 weeks with this delay. Stay tuned, I'll know I'm two weeks how many of my 11 embies are unaffected and usable.
