i had a busy day today! i am on the Green Team at church and this week has America Recycles Day. So i went and demo with all the kids classes and helped them make bird feeders out of old plastic drinking bottles! we made a big mess, but had lots and lots of fun.
even though i am not a religious person, this church has REALLY helped my self esteem. the green team gives me so much praise for my ideas and help. i got GREAT feedback from all the kids and teachers today and so many "thank you"s. i am also really enjoying the volunteer work. it gives me a chance to get out of the house for a bit, gives me a break from my kids, but im not spending money and i am still having a good time.
