my husband was watching a basketball game last night and the reporter had a REALLY bad rug. i am sure it looked good once upon a time, but his natural hair had a lot of gray in it now and obviously the toupee did not. seriously?

Why does the bag boy at the grocery store do that? Why does my lettuce, gum, laundry soap, and window cleaner get put in the same bag? I mean really? It seems like common sense to me. No special skill set is needed... Doesn't he eat food too? Does he want to eat soapy lettuce? Uggggg

i always put my items on the belt how i think they should be put in the bags. that way you don't get your laundry soap in with the bananas.

first on the belt is the heavy stuff, then frozen stuff, then boxes.
that way all the heavy stuff is placed as the "first layer" back in the grocery cart. then, i put the other stuff. chips and produce are the last ones.

good rule: heavy stuff first, light stuff last.

I usually check to see who is cashiering and who is bagging. I am fussy about both. Most miles I will bag my own stuff.. Yeah, I'm a pain in the ass.

I hope I am able to move tomorrow. I spent the day working in the yard, weeding, mulching and cutting about seven 20' trees (between 3 & 5 inches diameter) out of an overgrown hedge with a bowsaw and then dragged them to the street. There are still another 7 or so left.
The bowsaw is the only saw I have, besides a small reciprocating one.

Thinking about buying a small chainsaw. I'm kinda scared of them, though!

I also think I got into some poison ivy, but when I saw it I rushed inside and srubbed my arms with hot soapy water. So far, so good.

I hope you don't get it. Knock on wood, I have never gotten it and have had it wrapped around my hands this year.. But I am allergic to tomato and geranium leaves.. Go figure that out...

The proposed USDA breeder regulations seem a bit over the top. It would seem to me that there are more practical ways to ensure animal welfare than to require inspections of responsible breeders and animal foster homes. Because certainly the ones that won't comply are the ones who do not do things responsibly.

LD, I agree, the fine print of that legislation, is another issue also, big brother is getting his hands in way to many pies IMO,
