I have had in the past, but its like you said.
I prefer to be with someone i love then it is a lot more spiritual and emotional and in my opinion become making Love versus Sex.
So yea, I think I am in a FWBO relationship. I never made a commitment, and I keep getting screwed, SO yes I am in a
Friend with Barack Obama relationship, LOL!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
on a serious note I do not think I could do the fwb again in my life
Looking back on it now, it was truly a bad idea. I think it ruined sex for me and has messed with my self esteem, which is fragile enough.
I am now married and we hardly ever have sex due to many many issues but things have never been great in that department and I think part of the problem is my own views of sex.
That said, I tried it a few times. I always fell for the guy and they always broke my heart. I learned the hard way.
Yeah, I agree, a fwb situation is like of like sipping the head off a glass of beer, hoping for some rich liquid beneath that never seems to happen. Satisfying on a purely superficial level, when one is looking for something more warm and tender, it isn't there. But, again, depends on the particular fwb we're talking about. Two people might love each other very much but don't wish to marry or be exclusive. It really depends on the particular "friends" we're talking about here.
My life is so financially chaotic at the moment that it's affecting my emotional state. I'm in "panic" mode right now. When I'm comfortable, fat and relaxed, I'll begin thinking about what kind of relationship I want.
