Working fine for me right now also. And we too will remain friends.
I think it will only work if your are honest with YOURSELF about what it's all about.
I am enjoying the hell out of it!
and your advice is awesome, hopefully hindsight is 20/20 and when/if I'm there again I'll be smarter. I was just too crazy about him. When you love them men can drive you crazy, because they know they can..
(stole that from a movie)
Maybe the only way is that up front both are in agreement it's sex and friendship and nothing more?
I wonder - has anyone who's had a FWB relationship in the past remained life long friends with that person after the sex ended? ...In my case I didn't - mine was very short lived - only about 2 months.
It is tough, need works out for me.
I don't know yet if I can be friends with my STBXW? We cooperate well together in regards to our kids, but I'm keeping the relationship rather business-like for now.
I still like her family a lot, and still keep in pretty close touch with her younger brother. We'll see what the future holds. I just know I'm no longer attracted to her due to the hurt and anger caused from this whole divorce thing. I've been working on releasing the hurt and anger because I know it doesn't do me or my kid's any good. Doing much better now, but my relationship with my kid's mom (STBXW) will remain cordial and committed to doing what's right for the kids. I don't see us hanging out as friends.
