Yes, they apparently are trying to say he was an administrator on one of the "boards". Hopefully, he can prove that he was not.

I swear that most of these "boards" are honey pots. The government sets them up to see who they can catch. There are so many ways to secure a site and your your identity I find it somewhat unbelievable that they catch so many randomly.

coolrich001, I agree completely. The original complaint against my son states that law enforcement learned of a child exploitation website, it was started in November 2011 and as of February 2013 had over 22,000 members worldwide.
FIRST: You are LAW ENFORCEMENT, you "learn of a website like this, you gather all the Intel you can in as short an amount of time as possible, and you SHUT IT DOWN! You don't monitor it for 2 years.
SECOND: I always thought you had to pay to join a porno website (my son had no income, no way to pay for anything). Apparently, you could join this website for free, as well as others (Montana's is apparently a different website). HSI did admit to "conducting an undercover investigation".

This is getting ridiculous! When Montana first had warrant served, they wanted him transferred immediately! The court here said he had to stay here until after sentencing on 5/1. They set another court date of 5/8 to deal with Montana's charges. On that day they said they would hold him for Montana, he was supposed to be flown out there. It has been a week, he is still sitting "in limbo". I thought they were in such a hurry to get him? I am not looking forward to his being sent there, because he will be completely alone for the first time in his life, but the longer they drag this on, the longer he gets to wonder and worry, and the longer it will take to get him processed and into his permanent facility.

They are probably working on his case and back burnered it since he is already in prison. Hope for the best.

@ coolrich001, Wouldn't they have already put their case together before issuing the warrant? He hasn't been given the opportunity to answer the charges. From what I understand, the court here has ordered him held at CI NE in Ohio (where he has been) until Montana comes to get him. The longer that takes, the longer it will be before he is assigned a permanent facility. It would be nice if they decided to drop their case seeing how he is already convicted and sentenced here, but I doubt it. They are charging conspiracy and asking for 15 years minimum.

Hard to tell. After 13 months and 3 prosecutors, they finally found on that wanted to hang me. What started out with probation suggested by the first, ended up with a 2 year prison plea and 3 years SR.

He is supposed to call me and ring the phone a few times every morning just so I know he is still in Ohio (sometimes I love caller ID). I haven't heard a peep today. I have a sinking feeling Montana finally came and got him, on a Friday. He will probably sit there in a holding cell unable to call me until at least Monday. I am not a happy camper right now :(

Kitty, the waiting is the worst. But the prison system works at their own pace. It was two years from the arrest time to finally get to a permanent facility. My lawyers never knew anything. I was calling telling them everytime he got moved around. They played games with him back and forth between two county prisons, twice had him pack up and he thought he was on his way and then end of day took him back to the county prison. Mind you I was putting money in each one each time he got moved. It was total mayhem for two years. Now he is settled and things are much better even if he is much farther away. I feel your pain!

Kitty, it will work out. He will probably do better than you in the long run. Those who love us, serve the time with us. I lived by that and still do.

@Debbieo403, you're right, the waiting and not knowing is the worst. At least the phone system Ohio uses also does most if not all places in Montana, so the money should follow him. I have lost over $60 in unused phone money since this nightmare started. I hope you were able to get any unused funds returned to you. My son finally said screw it and placed an order with the commissary last night.(I put money on the account a few weeks ago but he didn't want to order anything because he didn't know if he would be there when it came in) well, I have a sinking feeling he is now in Montana.
