Wisconsin, maybe I didn't make it clear enough, the end of my post wasn't directly aimed at you, I was irritated about some other comments on other threads that was clearly anti Christian, anti conservative and anti cop.
As for having a 'Brotherhood' with cops, most cops who rarely dealt with the CG, didn't like us, not least because we were Feds and didn't think we had the authority we had which caused friction. Those who did knew we always had their backs, but you know where i live, they have no such experience as the investigating cop in my case did not, and again, it is not the cops who charge. Besides, the prosecutor was probably 20 yrs younger than me.
To compare CG to cops doesn't work like your example about Veterans. 98% of cops can't stand dirty cops and only that 2% make the news.(% a guess).
I know it's hard for you to understand, just like It's hard to explain, I am more comfortable with a group of veterans from all era's than I am in a group of cops, but at the same time, I am still comfortable in a group of cops.

On top of everything else, me and Independent are basically on the same page and you know we've had our differences, that should say plenty.
