I know I'm on the way up with my depression but it's so hard! I know I also could give up and slip back down... but why continue to be miserable when I know I can feel better if I just try? It's so hard though, some days I really want to curl up under the blankets, like today for instance. It's ok to still have days like that on our way up right? I mean even happy, UN depressed people still have bad days.

I got an email from Kohl's that I had a 40% off coupon for today and tomorrow only. It took me about an hour but I placed an order and got some great deals. I have been wanting a new dress. I like dressing up sometimes. My birthday is coming up and I have dinner plans at a nice restaurant. But, honestly, I'm a little out of control again. I went through this in the fall. I bought...

I didn't mean to make this about me, I just wanted to offer my advice - do what you need to do for YOU. If that's staying in bed, do it. If it's reading a book, do it. If it's cleaning your house, do it. Just don't give up on feeling better.
I've lost so much that staying in bed is a safe place for me. I don't know how to express it. I feel doing things out of the ordinary is a waste of time. Now that I have medication I can finally sleep. And I am and I feel great doing it.
I've lost 10 people including my Mom and then my very best friend that was my support with my mom...6 months later. 3 very good friends that we would have tue brunch. They all died within 1 year of each other of cancer. a stepbrother, 3 aunts, Rabbi, worker I worked with. My husband was cheating, my dog died. I wasn't medicated, I went into a massive year episode and lost my business which I worked out of my home. Everybody seen me lose my mind. And now the words are not flattering. I'm going to have to move in order to re-gain any confidence,my mind...my everything.
Sleep is warm and safe for me right now. I don't know what else to say..YOU'RE OK...COMPLETLY OK :)
