((((((((hugs)))))))) Jenn and I hope you and your friend can find some relief.
HUGS and Peace. And Jenn... I truly do hope you feel better soon.
We all go through stages of anger. When I was a kid I would blame the ground for skinning my knee. People who told me I was wrong to blame the ground did me no good. But those who gave me a hug, let me cry, listened to me, and helped me clean myself up made a huge difference.
Truth be told, I believe that we adults "blame the ground" from time to time too.
Jen is hurting, and is lashing out, struggling to find answers. I have found that the best answers come from questions based in raw uncertainty that are allowed to flow naturally to resolution. We can't force her to accept any of our answers, she must be able to do it herself for the answer to mean anything.

I really don't think your point will be understood, but I'm so glad you tried.
If you have a splinter in your thumb, can it heal if you leave the splinter in it? No. You have to remove the splinter. But first you have to find the splinter, which in itself can be a painful process.
Further more, you are a wiccan, and that is completely your choice (just like being a christian is completely mine), and if you had offered me sympathy and to light a candle for me or whatever you do as a wiccan to help yourself feel better, I would thank you for you sincere thoughts and leave it go from there. It is how you treat people that is important, not what religion you practice.
